Our corps of volunteers enables us to serve many more clients than we could with staff alone. They include attorneys starting out, retired and in-between, mediators, law students, and legal graduates and others interested in helping with client service, outreach, office tasks and more.
We are always seeking volunteer attorneys to advise and assist California seniors by phone. Volunteers work alongside our staff attorneys opening cases, providing high quality legal advice and assistance, assisting with mediations, and conducting community legal education.
Time commitment is negotiable, although to allow for the best training and orientation, more is preferable and consistency is especially important while getting started. Actual hours for our currently active volunteer attorneys vary widely.
